Sure it can't mean anything, but just caught my eye. Unless he was getting a vision of both situations. Just thinkin out loud, as I find Delouise totally fascinating, and would love to know more.

I saw that, too, and wondered if anyone else would notice.

The most interesting case where police were not only willing to acknowledge the help of a psychic, but to give credit to one, was a case I saw on a TV show (can't remember whether it was Dateline, or a psychic investigators show). There had been a series of assaults against older women in a Pennsylvania town, and police were stymied. The assailant had left no physical evidence, no witnesses had seen him, and the community was very touchy. One of the officers approached his chief, and told him that he knew a guy who seemed like a regular guy, but sometimes was able to see or hear or smell things that later were found to be true events. The Chief was at a point that he thought "What harm could it do?", and agreed to meet with the man. Without filling him in on anything (though the psychic had read the paper about the crimes), he came up with several items which had not been released (two victim's first names, the neighborhoods and even streets where several of the crimes had occurred). He went on to say that he saw the man responsible in his mind, and gave a description. He then said that he saw the man sitting in a car and watching, perhaps gathering details about his planned next victim. After a bit of time where he could not come up with the type of car the guy was sitting in, or anything related to the subject's name (though he did say he saw a heavy smoker of Camel cigarettes), the Chief was running a bit low on patience. The officer who had originally brought the psychic to the Chief's attention asked the man if he could see a street name, or an address. He named an intersection. He'd scarcely got the names of the two streets out before the Chief bolted from the room and from the station.

Turns out that the Chief's mother lived at that very intersection and he hopped in his private vehicle to check on her. She was fine, and the Chief noted a man sitting in a car smoking kitty corner to his mother's duplex home. The Chief organized a stakeout using his mother's phone, had two officers come in the back way from the alley to provide security for his mother inside the home, and then he left as though he'd simply had a nice visit with Mom. His mother was all for being the 'bait' to catch the man who'd been assaulting women of her age, and she even knew one of the victims (I think it was a town with a population of somewhere between 20-30,000 residents).

Short story even longer , the man attempted to assault the Cheif's mother two days later (well, two nights later). He was caught as he entered the home, and several of the prior victims picked him out of a lineup. Faced with that, he confessed to get a plea deal. I'd forgotten it until I read these articles, and I am going to look for sourcing of the story, but it was the only time I've seen or heard of a police chief giving credit for solving a case to a psychic. Will update when I find the sources. It may not be common, but it ain't unheard of either, exactly. MVB

Yeah Chris, and what are your thoughts on that one?
I have to agree with a few things DeLouise felt. I agree that Z knew the victims at BRS, that he feels he has suffered many injustices. The field = Fairfield to me. Good Possibly that he was ck'ed out by the police an released. And YES to the altered appearance. I also have a couple ideas on the small bridge out of Vallejo.... think I'll kidnap Sandy next week for a drive to Vallejo

Thanks MBurt, interesting... these psychic's. You know I honestly feel there are some good ones. Just the bad ones give it a bad name, like anything else in this world. Looks like we were posting the same time prior...I didn't see your post, when I hit enter. Will look forward to your update. Also IF anyone can dig up more on DeLouise, well I for one would like to know....I find him interesting.
Zincerely, Zam*

That case rings a bell, MBurt. Every now and then I'll hear about a psychic experience that just cannot be explained away. Most of the time I find psychics and clairvoyants laughable, but I don't discount the possibility of a genuine sixth sense. If I did, I wouldn't have started this thread. It is an interesting angle that may have a potential for leads, either directly or indirectly.

As for Delouise's "feelings," Zam, I once looked at the possibility of "roth" and "field" being names, but Roth as a name just didn't fit the Zodiac profile. But then, the resulting name might not necessarily be that of a suspect. A location, as you have noted, would make more sense.

While I am not too into the psychic stuff, I do find some of what he says very interesting and will elaborate later.

Is Christopher Harris still alive? Also, I wonder what DeLouise may have told his children in regards to this. ??

Yes, I find this whole issue of psychics "helping" to solve crimes really fascinating. I believe some are legit and have seen a number of shows (maybe they were on ID tv) that had various cases where LE enlisted the help of a psychic and he or she did provide clues that eventually helped solve the crime. One case I recall is of a teenage boy who disappeared. A female psychic came in and provided some images she saw, etc. and based in part on what she "saw" they solved the case.

I would like to try to make more sense of what DeLouise said and see if it might lead anywhere, even after all this time.

Tahoe, here is the "roth" part:

Acting Prison Warden Charles Dell said the two men cut the fence behind the baseball backstop at Rothe Hall, about 9 p.m. Sunday.

I got some news. I'm from Canada and wound up involved in a serial killer case called The Highway of Tears/Yellow Head and found missing girls from the Highway of tears by being contacted by a few of their ghosts. It has led to an active investigation in to a man I grew up with and had a brutal blood bath with as he near beat me to death in 1996. he was born in 1975 and my self in 1976. any how as I researched the yellow head case case (Sept. 2011) I came accross Zodiac rumors and got my hands on a 340 cypher and read an exact sequence of events that I went thru from sept of 2011 to nov. of 2011. its pretty much exact in its symbolism and it speaks of two Zodiac killers. the one we all know and a next generation blood relative (whom I was seeking to find his dirty homicide evidence. Its in the POSHT sequence starting the line above at WB/ and ends the line bellow at -C. in that sequence are those saturn thingy's. what that is, is actually the identity of the Zodiac as two individuals. the vertical one our famous one and the horizontal the guy I was seeking to nail. The RCMP are involved and I have informed the FBI among others of my findings. If you are interested in seeing video evidence goto youtube and search MrDanBunes. I have various videos on the topic.

Dear Friends,

Yes I am still alive. I was young and fearless in those days of hoping to catch the Zodiac Killer. I remember the morning I was waiting to meet Under Sheriff Tom Johnson of Napa, I was having breakfast directly across from where I was to meet Sheriff Johnson. A man walked into the diner. He said hello and then rocked my world when he said "Are you Chris Harris?" I hesitated for a brief moment. Time seemed to slow down and the man behind the counter in the diner disappeared. The man who asked for my name said he knew I was after the Zodiac Killer. He then said "Do you have any idea what it must be like to awake each morning, knowing you have to outsmart the police and the press? He started to cry. Needless to say I was freaking out. He stared right through me. He suddenly moved closer to me. It was like one of those old Mafia films where the people in the restaurant disappear and the guns arrive and start shooting. I ask for the man's name. He only gave me his first name as "Ben." He would not state his last name. When I ask a second time, he said "you really don't need that." I wanted to run out the diner. The man who kept asking me if I wanted a second cup of coffee, did not appear. "Ben" ask why I was so interested in solving the Zodiac Killings. I said "I represent a documentary film company." Actually I represented Joseph DeLouise the psychic. I was afraid to state psychic. Ben soon corrected me, he stated your lying "you represent that psychic." I was now ready to run to the bathroom. Ben seemed irritated and was taking the whole matter involving the Zodiac, very personal. Ben stood up and gave me a very threatening look. At that moment I said "well I think I had better run." I sincerely meant RUN. Ben did not say goodbye, he turned and walked out the diner. I went directly to Sheriff Tom Johnson across the street. I told him about the incident and believed I may have met the Zodiac Killer. Johnson told me he was going to put an all points bulletin out. I actually don't know if he ever did that. I was considered to be a major problem at that time. I was always asking questions. I was convinced early on that law enforcement had made many mistakes, mainly in the death of Darlene Ferrin. I still to this day stand by that charge. That charge being that in the ridiculous there are clues. Some individual with a web site declares I was wrong. I spent over a year involved with the Zodiac Killings. A cartoonist by the name of Robert Graysmith was always at my press conferences. In his book about the Zodiac he said people thought I was the Zodiac. They thought that because I was asking questions that the police were not asking and should have been asking. Graysmith did the best job he could do with his book. I know for a fact the late Joseph DeLouise gave Mr. Graysmith many of my notes and observations. What does it all mean? It means that law enforcement in Vallejo, Napa, and San Francisco did not share information. They were all overcome with ego to catch the Zodiac Killer and claim there victory. Perhaps if they had shared their data on a daily basis and left the press out of it, they might have reached a conclusion and apprehended the Zodiac Killer. Darlene Ferrin's mother told me the story that Darlene told her and that was "you might read about me in the newspaper tomorrow," and she did. I still believe that Darlene's death was a copycat murder made to appear as if it was Zodiac.

Respectfully,

Chris Harris

Nice to see you are still among the living.  [wink]

Thank you for your reply.  I hadn't checked this site in a while, but I am glad I did.  I think many people would have questions for you so I hope you will return.
